It’s time for me to start blogging again. I’ve been keeping all my stories to myself,
or just sharing them with a few people, and that’s not really fair to the blog
stalkers. This fresh blogging start, is
the perfect time for me to share one of my life changing stories.
Back in 2003, I signed up to be a Stampn’ UP!
demonstrator. It’s one of the best
decisions I’ve ever made! I have a
wonderful group of friends, customers and downline members. We share ideas, laughter, projects and great
times, but I don’t always share my Stampin’ UP! story. The story of how I started.
I was introduced to Stampin’ UP! by my neighbor. She took me as her guest to a party and I was
instantly hooked. I spent nearly every
evening pouring over the catalog, and wondering what signing up would be
like. I needed a job, I needed to make
money, and I loved the products and the social aspects of Stampin’ UP! It seemed like a perfect fit!
My husband was very supportive from the very beginning. He told me without hesitation that he thought
I would be a very good demonstrator, and that I should sign up as soon as possible
to start the adventure. The only problem
was the fee. I needed $200. At that time, we were a young family with
only one income. We could barely make
ends meet most months. $200 seemed like
$2million and I couldn’t imagine how we would come up with the funds.
The Bossman told me not to worry about it. He went out to the garage to clean up some
hunting equipment to get stuff ready for a weekend trip he was going to take
with his dad. He came in a few minutes
later with a stunned look on his face.
He handed me two $100 bills and told me to go sign up tomorrow. He said that he was cleaning out an old
hunting jacket and found the money in the pocket. He had no idea where it came from.
The next day, I went over to Amy’s house and signed up
immediately. That night I called several
friends and family members to tell them what I had done. Everyone, without exception, was extremely
supportive of my decision offering to help in any way.
All these years later, I am still a demonstrator. I LOVE it.
This job has positively influenced my life in so many ways! I can’t count them.
Right now, I need two people. I am very close to a promotion, and I only
need two people to sign up. If you are
moved to make a change in your life for the better, I hope you’ll consider
doing what I did. Right now, you can
sign up for only $125. You’ll receive
almost $400 in product, you’ll receive FREE gifts from Stampin’ UP! every month
for one year, and you’ll be a member of my group. There are many demonstrator perks. I’ll share more of them with you if you’re
interested.
It’s easy to make the decision. Just go to my website, www.cherylholtman.stampinup.net
and click the join now link.
Now, I’ll share a card sample. This card has the perfect sentiment:
This card describes, perfectly, the way I feel every time I 'go to work.' I am greatly blessed and I must share this opportunity.
OK, I'm obviously a little behind reading your blog, but I loved hearing your Stampin' Up story! (especially because I'm a proud part of it!) But, I've never heard the part about finding the $200 in a pocket! I love that!! It's like God was saying... here ya go! This is what I want you to do! And, boy was he right! I can't imagine not having your friendship in my life! :)
